The Reindeer Whisperer

We had a wonderful musical performance put on by 4 first grade classes this Tuesday!  I know Mrs. Funderburk and the children worked long and hard on it and it sure was great!  If you weren't able to come and see your child or you just want to watch it over and over again, we are selling the DVD for $5.00.

I wanted to post more pictures of the children on stage, but I can't because of the 3 other classes.  Here are a few as we were getting ready though :)

A few weeks ago, NMBP had a food drive in conjunction with Helping Hands.  We brought it so many cans to help feed other people during the holiday season!  We weren't the winning class, but we sure did feel good helping others.  We brought in almost 170 food items!

Our community

We've been learning about the government in social studies.  Last week, after discussing the different buildings owned by our government, the students created communities as a group.  Check them out!
